Hey guys, as I haven't done a print of the month in a little while, I thought this week I'd just share with you all a few of the prints I'm most happy with from the past couple of months.  If you follow me on Instagram (If not why not?!) you may have seen these before. I'm going to split this post into tree sections; "Functional prints", "Projects" and "Just for fun". Functional prints Both of these prints are for the redecorating of our second room, which is currently in full swing.  We both have new desks and have converted the space where my wife's old desk was into a workspace for projects!! Hey guys.  First off, not much of an update with the printer this week.  The replacement parts should be on the way but according to the tracking page they haven't yet left China, so if that doesn't change in the next couple of days I'll get back in touch with CS. So today, as this is a POTM week, I thought I'd touch on something pretty cool that happened at work last week. In 2017 I managed to convince my office that we should get hold of a 3D printer to be able to produced physical models of the digital models we already had for projects.  I settled on the Prusa MK2 as at the time it was the best quality for money FDM printer on the market. I had done some bits and pieces at work, including printing a pretty cool bridge model for a site team that wanted to present it to a client at the end of the project, I even presented it on a nice stained wood base. Hey guys, for this months POTM I thought I'd print myself a little something to tide me over while I wait for my Tesla Model 3... It's a little supercharger for my work phone! I have to say, I've been having a few problems recently with the extruder jamming on me and I'm not sure why yet.  This meant I had to try three times before I managed to get a finished print of the white sides of the charger... One of the failed prints I'm not sure if the new filament I got has gummed up the nozzle, or if it's just time for me to get a new one (it's the same nozzle that came with my printer last year and has had around 8kg of plastic through it!). I'll keep trying to print stuff but in the meantime I will order a set of new nozzles from Cetus and see if I can get things working again. Another issue I had with the print was that I ran out of silver on the base, totally my fault, so I had to swap material half way through... The print ...

Here we are again for another POTM.  If you caught last months you'll remember I talked about some larger scale 'mechs I printed, but as much as I loved them, they didn't feel... well.... big enough , if you know what I mean.  The Centurion especially was not really at a scale I was completely happy with, so I though I'd try a couple other 'mechs and see if I could make them a lot closer to 28mm scale or 1:64.  I went back and found some models of some well known 'mechs and got to printing!! Each 'mech was around 50 hours of printing, and as cool as the Warhammer is (see below for a pic with the Marauder and the Warhammer together), I feel the Marauder came out especially well making it my print of the month for March 2018!
